Rihanna took her search for a “Rude Boy” to funny woman Ellen DeGeneres‘ talk show today with a sizzling performance of the latest single from her album, Rated R.
The pre-taped performance (Rihanna is currently on a promotional tour in Australia) was our first full taste of what “Rude Boy” is like live — and we like! Rihanna maintains a bit of her signature rock-star edge, while paying homage to her island roots with her dancing and movement.
The performance would have been even better with a couple backing dancers delivering a real routine, but we’ll take what we can get in the way of dancing from Rihanna since she hasn’t done it in so long.
