Ke$ha‘s unrelenting hold on the No. 1 spot on the Billboard Hot 100 singles chart has been put to an end — or maybe we should say an “E.N.D.”
“Imma Be,” the Black Eyed Peas‘ fourth single from their platinum plus-selling album, The E.N.D., tops the chart this week, ending the nine-week reign of Ke$ha’s debut smash “TiK ToK.”
“Imma Be” becomes the third single from the Peas’ latest album to top the chart, joining “Boom Boom Pow” and “I Got A Feeling,” which collectively spent an insane 26 weeks on top.
The other big top ten story this week belongs to Virginia-born R&B crooner Trey Songz, who lands his first single in the top tier in his five year career with his party jam “Say Aah.”
This week’s top ten singles according to Billboard:
- Black Eyed Peas – Imma Be
- Ke$ha – TiK ToK
- Young Money featuring Lloyd – BedRock
- Lady GaGa – Bad Romance
- Lady Antebellum – Need You Now
- Artists For Haiti – We Are The World 25 For Haiti
- Train – Hey, Soul Sister
- Ludacris – How Low
- Jason DeRulo – In My Head
- Trey Songz – Say Aah
