It may be season nine but last night’s (February 25) American Idol live results show looked a lot like season eight with appearances by not one but two of it’s stars.
After a mellow but good performance of Scars from the spunky Allison Iraheta, Idol fans were treated to a second performance. This time by last year’s winner Kris Allen.
Kris took the stage for a special performance of Let It Be by The Beatles. The track will be made available on iTunes with 100% of the proceeds going to help the survivors of the Haiti earthquake.

Kris accomplished what he wanted to. His vulnerable performance kept the focus on Haiti and not him. So Kris. Am looking forward to his next appearance though, when he should be free to sing a song from his album and rock the stage with his band. Can’t wait!
