Video: Jamie Foxx Gives Jay Leno Wacky Welcome Back To ‘The Tonight Show’

Maybe you can blame it on the alcohol, but Jamie Foxx was definitely acting pretty wacky when he joined Jay Leno on the Tonight Show last night (March 1).

The comedian/actor/singer stepped out after being introduced by Leno, mic in hand, and launched into a call-and-response session of “When I say ‘welcome,’ you say ‘back’!” (It was Leno’s first night back on the Tonight Show after the whole debacle with NBC and Conan O’Brien.)

It didn’t stop there. Foxx, who recently won a Grammy for his hit single with T-Pain, “Blame It,” opened a bottle of champagne, shook it up, and sprayed it everywhere. “It’s a celebration,” he shouted.

After Foxx told an 18-year-old audience member to “take a swig” of the bubbly, Leno joked, “I just got this show back. Don’t screw it up for me.”

When Foxx calmed down a bit, he talked about his Grammy win and performance, the Olympics, and his “relationship” with Kirstie Alley.
