The need for Lady Antebellum‘s sophomore album, Need You Now, appears to have been really strong last week.
The Grammy-winning country trio returned to the top of the Billboard 200 album chart after selling 126,000 copies, according to Nielsen Soundscan.
Lady A finally bumped Sade‘s Soldier of Love from No. 1, ending the British soul singer and her band’s three week run on top. Soldier of Love continues its impressive sales climb, bringing in another 79,000 copies.
American Idol season 8′s third place finisher, soulman-turned-country crooner Danny Gokey, starts strong with his debut album, My Best Days, coming in at No. 4 with 65,000 copies sold. Gokey can thank his performance of the album’s title-track on last week’s results episode of Idol for adding a bit more attention on the set.
