BET’s annual Rip The Runway concert/fashion show was shaping up to be a pretty lame event until co-host and rap’s most hyped badgirl, Nicki Minaj, livened it up with Ludacris for a performance of their hit “My Chick Bad.”
And the chick was verging on bad, indeed.
Dressed in the tightest one-piece she could find and a pink wig, Minaj screamed her way through her verse. Maybe she was trying to wake up the sleepy viewers at home? Maybe she was trying to drown out the useless backing track? Who knows, but if grabbing attention was her goal, she accomplished that and more.
