Sorry, Russell Brand. Katy Perry has eyes for another man. He’s short, red, furry and resides on the sunniest block in the country.

The pop singer met Elmo on the set of Sesame Street yesterday (March 18) and fell hard for the muppet immediately.

“Sunny day today! I think I’m in lurv… Sorry @rustyrockets!” she tweeted to her husband-to-be.

She included a picture of herself (showing off some extreme cleavage for a kiddie show!) and the adorable furball.

Meeting the world’s most famous muppet is awesomeness, but that wasn’t the best part, apparently. She posted another picture of herself decked out in a Oscar the Grouch snuggie. “I’ll b VERY GROUCHY in this!”
