It’s a very good week to be Justin Bieber.
The 16-year-old mega-star’s sophomore album, My World 2.0, lands at the top of the Billboard 200 album chart this week after selling 283,000 copies in its first week out, according to Nielsen Soundscan.
The album has already produced the hit single “Baby,” featuring Ludacris, and his latest, “Never Let You Go,” is rising quickly.
Celebrating a No. 1 album isn’t all for Bieber. His debut album, My World, rises to a new peak. It sits at No. 5 this week, making it the first time since 2004 that one artist has two albums in the top five.
Bieber’s whirlwind promo schedule for the new set included Letterman, the Kids’ Choice Awards, and back-to-back performances on The View.
