On last night’s (April 12) Dancing With The Stars, the remaining contestants were forced to raise the bar in their dances as two sets of scores depended upon how well they did: 30 points up for grabs in technique and another 30 for performance.
This season’s resident musician, pop star and Pussycat Dolls front woman Nicole Scherzinger, took on the sexy Rumba with her partner Derek Hough. It was her goal to impress judge Len Goodman, who has been particularly rough on her performance, and she seemed to do just that.
Her critique from the panel wasn’t 100% positive but her scores were one of the highest of the night. She earned 25 points in both technique and performance bringing her total for the night to 50. That was no consolation to Nicole, who appeared to be on the verge of tears as she received her scores backstage.
nicole puts too much pressure on herself that it showed in her dance…she was too absorbed with the earlier comments she got that it got the best of her…she is a perfectionist so when she “fails”, it makes it harder to accept the comments from the judges. she appeared most tensed while hearing the performance scores. shake it off, nicole!
