Chris Brown in "G Sh*t" video
There’s a party at an LA mansion, and there’s no room for pop singers. So, Chris Brown puts on his rapper hat once again for the song and video for “G Sh*t,” his collaboration with Young Money rapper Tyga.
The video is the second to come from the dynamic duos upcoming mixtape, Fan of a Fan, which they are currently in the studio finishing.
Unlike the more street, dance-driven video for the first taste from the mixtape, “Holla At Me,” Breezy and Tyga enjoy some sun, fun, and a hell of a lot of girls as they rap about their monumental flyness over a summer radio-ready beat — the language in the song, however, is surely not radio friendly.
And while Chris is mostly rapping his way through the song — and he does it far better than some who actually claim the title of “rapper” as their full-time job (Soulja Boy, be embarrassed!) – he gets back to being the crooning Breezy we miss so sorely on the chorus.

Chris Brown is still ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS! His smile is just electrifying. I guess he’s repping those Dodgers, huh? LOL at the inside joke, but on the real, he’s too pretty for this foolishness. When is his label going to get behind him and Graffiti? Or another real album? It’s well past time.
I agree. Chis does a great job with Tyga. And yep his rapping skills got way more swag that poor – Soulja Boy will every acquire. I am with Anonymous, his record label needs to get behind him with a new image grown-man mature image that appeals to the now grown up sexy young ladies he first charmed – the teens will still love him too! He has everything the record label needs: the talent and voice, the appeal and sexiness. The record company needs to forget about RiRi as the curtain on her 15 minutes cools off. I challenge the record company to grab Chris and let him be hotter than ever! Everybody trying to sound like my “Breezy” Trey Songs, Jeremiah……. even Usher! But nobody can do it like CHRIS. The man is a gift to the world.
I doubt his record company is thinking about Rhianna. They’re probably concerned with his legal shackles & making sure he’s better prepared to go out and promote his actual album than he was in December. I like Chris and Rhianna. They’re both talented & creative and both deserve to have great longevity in their careers. God-willing, Chris will have a triumphant return and they both will. Instead of sitting tight, gettin through all his cs hours and letting things play out as they should, he keeps releasing this wanna-be thug BS music while he still has 14 and 15 year old fans looking up to him, waiting for him to comeback as their role model he claims he can still be. And they’re the main ones eating up this mess, watching , listening, and downloading it on the internet. I agree he is growing up and his label should support the mature side of his image. Tyga, Gshit, and this mixtape just doesn’t seem like the way to go. He actually seems like he’s going backwards in his career instead of forward. That’s what’s most disappointing of all.
@Katie. I like Rihanna too, but all of the hype around their situation put her in a super favorable mode for the minute. Now that the Chrihanna is deal she is cooling down. Any way you are right about Chris having the need for that break while his legal matters were in the fore front. Not to mention a season for things to settle. I think that if he does his tour, stays out of the young teenager mode he’ll be okay. He would have been wise to have released a different kind of album sooner than later. It is a good album but now what he needed at the time. Like I said he needs a needs to move to the next level: grown and sexy and in total control. I love his smile and energy, but he needs to use it sensually as a man now. His record label, management company and of course his own reconition of this need for a dramatic next level change will work. I wish I could be a consultant for his management team.
Rihanna’s 15 minutes are cooling off? That’s funny! First of all she’s already made it past 15 minutes and where were you the last 5 weeks that she was number one on the hot 100? Have you seen the crowds at her Europe concerts? Sold out. She’s selling out arenas here to. Get your facts straight. I like Chris to but you stans need to realize you don’t have to pretend to be blind to Rihanna’s success bcause he struggling.
@HalleyXX: I am giving her her props.. She is an accomplished and acclaimed star in her own right. I am not taking anything from her. But nothing burns white red hot the way it has this past year forever and a day. Interviews and the press all about what happened… the world wanted to know and it took her 9 months to get to it on how many separate venues? I admire him for his silence and accepting her need to get it all out there. That is the 15 minutes I am speaking of so you know. And you can’t say that this did not boost her already huge popularity. Every where you looked there is Rihanna and the conversation. I also understand that to some extend she had to make some acknowledgments to protect her success. I know her history and recognize all of her milestones and accomplishments for her talents not only as a singer, but as a model, spokesperson, and business woman. Her tour in the UK is a huge success and I am sure it will be in the US. This is not about a competition, between them, it is the personal hype that played into. She is a pop-star (sometimes R&B crossover) which puts her in a different and broader spectrum than Chris anyway and she will always have more of fan base and buyers market than Chris and $$$. The point is the press is not talking about either of them the way they did when they were first an item, or a couple, and particularly the way they did after the incident that happened between them. Moreover, the press in also not into the personal life of Ri and Matt like they were about she and Chris. You get your facts straight and understand when someone is being negative or not. I accept that what has happen to Chris could have been avoided if he’d just walked away and not let the altercation with Ri get to where he put his hands on her, regardless of what may have transpired in that care that only she, Chris and God know for sure. But so is the way of life in the real world that we all live in. S#%T happens and fame or lack of it does not change that. Yes, it happened and he met the court, and is paying a price even with his struggling career. I guess everyone loves a star when he’s on the top, and that know one comes around when they start to drop. However, my point in of of this is about what Chris needs to do for himself to position himself to get back on track – if can. And so that you know I have all of both of their music. I have seen Ri and Chris and the are both fabulous! I am very happy for her success, but I am also pulling for his struggle to be over…. that he can make a successful transition from the teenage heart throb…. to that as a grown man who has evolved to become so much more. Respectfully submitted with no harsh intents.
i fill that who ever is talking bout chris brown lik dat day need ta quit cuz if he wants to do something new then let him do it and im one of his biggest fans and i dont think his rapping is a waste of time so calm down and let him do him cuz yall not da ones getting da money and if nobody did not lik his music he would have not sold so many albums and dont get mad cuz u not famous lik him and he is to old to be making some lil gurl songs he is 21 years old he is on big and better things
OK im sick of this.let me explain to everyone out there that Chris Brown is doing very well. i am soo sick and tired of hearing people say that if he continues to rap his career will go backwards instead of forwards. Actually (even though i was never a Chris Brown fan to begin with) i believe that his superior skills in both rapping and singing will only boost his career even further. For those who are music lovers and love this kids voice, i agree with you upon the fact that this person in general is a good singer and has great potential to be a singing legend. however for those of you to call his rapping a disgrace and piteous noise are foolish critics who obviously know nothing about the long and harsh road our generation is going down. wake up people and stop being prejudice towards the phenomenon of the rapping chris brown. And just so y’all know i prefer songs from chris brown than rap, however you, the common man, must admit that this nigga just changed the world with one song.
i love him,we’ll never live him!!!!!!!!!
