Paramore hit the stage to perform their dark fairytale “Brick By Boring Brick” this morning (April 30) on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon — and totally not Jimmy Kimmel like frontwoman Hayley Williams tweeted after the taping.
It was a night of boo-boos on Twitter for precious Hayley, that started when she said the band had just performed on Jimmy Kimmel Live hours before the show would air. She followed that tweet up with a joke that they had “returned from the future” where they played to keep with the illusion that the show would be live. But that was the least of her problems since they actually performed on Fallon. “Well, I give Jimmy Fallon total permission to overdub our performance 2nite with the sound of crying children. We’re on Fallon not Kimmel!” Hayley tweeted after she realized her mistake.
All was forgiven when the kick-ass awesome performance aired.
Paramore will perform this weekend at the Bamboozle Festival in New Jersey before kicking off the Honda Civic tour this summer.
