Just days after officially declaring summer here with the release of her new single, “California Gurls,” featuring Snoop Dogg, more new material seemingly from Katy’s as-yet-untitled sophomore album has hit the internet.
In “E.T. (Futuristic Lover),” Katy is swept off her feet by an alien — not the green, bug-eyed kind, more like the Lil Wayne kind, meaning this dude is out of this world.
The spacey landscape for Katy’s futuristic love letter is courtesy of her longtime collaborating bud Dr. Luke, who also produced “California Gurls.”
