Chris Brown - Stacey Johnson/Neon Limelight
Chris Brown played to a sold-out crowd of screaming fans Saturday, May 15 at Virginia Commonwealth University’s Siegel Center in Richmond, VA as part of his “VA Stand Up: A Call To Action” benefit concert.
Brown put together the event to raise money for the victims of the earthquake in Haiti by teaming with the American Red Cross and to help fight hunger in his hometown with the Central Virginia Food Bank.
Breezy called upon his industry friends like Ryan Leslie, Tank, Bow Wow, Mario, Keri Hilson, T-Pain, fellow VA R&B crooner Trey Songz, and Tyga to perform alongside him at the event. You would have had the best time. He is someone who definitely knows how to give a show as well as put one together, this is my 3rd time seeing him (Chris) and I haven’t been disappointed yet!
I saw him for the first time last yr and he was absolutely AMAZING! I will never miss a Chris Brown concert again! If he comes anywhere near me I will be attending. He never stopped moving. I have not seen a performer go as hard and long as Chris since Michael Jackson and I am not trying to say he is the next MJ(which he is)!

Actually, it WAS completely sold out. Some people didn’t pay in advance but on the day the line was wrapped around. We panicked when we first got there and saw the line but we had tickets and were able to get in quickly. That was a relief!

I honestly thought I was going to pass out. Tank, Bow Wow, Trey, Chris… OH MYYYY! That was too much sexy with no shirt on for me that night. I lost my voice :) But it was so worth it. I didn’t think I was going to be like those screaming little girls, but oh how I was wrong. I only wish I was that girl who came on stage when Chris was performing. That would have been the only thing if life that I could’ve asked for! Haha.
Okay, maybe it’s just me but Chris Brown is just looking older and hotter since he turned 21 a few weeks ago. What a beautiful young man. Thanks for the pictures, everyone looked well. I love that my girl Keri can hold her on with the guys out there….LOL!
glad to hear this concert went well. Chris Brown made a mistake but that didn’t mean he lost his talent in dancing and singing. I’m glad people can still appreciate talent when they see it.
