Chris Brown - Neon Limelight
There’s good and bad news for fans of Chris Brown. The good: Breezy is preparing to release three brand new music videos. The bad: none of them are from his sorely ignored third album, Graffiti.
Brown, who is currently performing on the international leg of his Fan Appreciation Tour in Brazil, has already wrapped the video shoot for the steamy ballad “No Bullsh*t,” which appears on both his Valentine’s Day mixtape, In My Zone, and the recently released collaborative effort with Young Money rapper Tyga, Fan of a Fan.
According to a few now-deleted tweets from Breezy, videos for “Deuces” with Tyga and Kevin McCall, and the Bow Wow-featured “Ain’t Thinkin Bout You,” are also on the way.
Brown and Tyga have already unleashed two video from Fan of a Fan, “Holla At Me” and “G Sh*t.”
There’s no word from Brown’s record label home, Jive Records, when or if another video from Graffiti will be released.
It’s cuz he’s still getting blackballed aka cockblocked by bougie ass radio stations. The plan is to js stay out there since many fools think he’s done when he’s doing more than other artists who didn’t have a yr like he did in 2009. Chris is writing, producing, doing songs including Favor which should have its own vid as well as well as this current tour. When ppl get off his big D and let young legend breathe, he’ll prolly re-release Graffiti which is a great album and do more vids. I’m so hoping he’ll do Sing Like Me..I mean, that song, Pass Out, and ILY are available on radio playlists many js don’t want to smh he’ll make them regret turning their backs on him!!
Record labels aren’t as necessary as they used to be. But if Chris wants to keep working with one, he needs to dump this one and get one with spine and some backbone. Keep working, Chris!
I’m scared Jive bout to drop him and Chris make these mixtapes to prove to the next label he still make good music people want. I don’t care what label he on Chris make great music and I can’t wait to see No bullshit video!!
Yes.. the music industry is in for a big change. There a new prospectives that artist can allude to that takes them out of the grasp of the former greedy and powerful. 20 years changes the flow of the economy and prvoides interventions and different measure for accomplishing success and wealth. i think chris needs to focus on graffiti,i feel like mixtapes are sidetracking him,im a big fan of chris,Jive is one of the most know and popluar record labels next to defjam,columbia,and interscope,jive doesnt play if you dont have hit singles they drop you point blank,chris go in the studio right some hits and prove to everyone you still on top,even tho i love graffiti its not getting attention so move on and right some hits! thats all!
