Pop singer Nicole Scherzinger rumbaed for redemption last night (May 24) on the Dancing With The Stars finale.
Dressed in a flirty red dress and dancing to, quite appropriately, “Lady In Red,” Nicole and her partner Derek Hough took on the dance that earned them a harsh critique, a modest score, and almost brought Nicole to tears earlier in the season.
The second go was a good one. The pair elegantly glided their way to a score of 28 out of 30.
But the rumba was only their first dance of the night. The pair ended their dance-fest with a kickin’ freestyle to “A Little Less Conversation,” that, despite a small slip up, resulted in a score of 27 out of 30.
With a total score of 55, Nicole and Derek tied with sports reporter Erin Andrews and her partner Maksim Chmerkovskiy. Olympic figure skater Evan Lysacek earned 52 points.
