Kelly Rowland commands you to dance — but which Kelly!?
In the singer’s new video for her David Guetta-produced single “Commander,” a black latex-sporting Rowland goes toe-to-toe in a dance-off with a red latex-wearing Rowland. Neither team — red or black — shows any fear as they serve the other move by move with a hoard of party-loving people around watching.
For those who have followed Rowland since her days in Destiny’s Child, you’ll get a sweet flashback to the group’s video for “Lose My Breath,” which also showed Rowland and her groupmates Michelle Williams and Beyonce fighting it out with their own likenesses in a dance-off.
“Commander” is the first single from Rowland’s as-yet-untitled third album, in stores September 14.
The end of this video is such a bitch slap to matthew knowles!! she even did her old “ms. kelly” hair and everything! she’s breaking through the confinement of her RnB image and entering into dance pop. Go Kelly go!
