MMVA Performances: Adam Lambert, Ke$ha, Katy Perry, Drake, Justin Bieber, Miley Cyrus

Between handing out awards and counting to see just how many skimpy outfits co-host Miley Cyrus would change into, the MuchMusic Video Awards, which took place last night in Toronto, had a few live performances by some of pop’s freshest stars.
Adam Lambert, Ke$ha, Katy Perry, Drake, Justin Bieber and Cyrus all gave performances of their latest and greatest hits. See all of them below.
Adam Lambert – Whataya Want From Me: Adam threw another awesome performance of his pop ballad in his bag, but we couldn’t help but stare longingly at his new one side shaved haircut. Loves!
Ke$ha – TiK ToK: “Your Love Is My Drug” is Ke$ha’s latest single creeping towards the top of the charts, but she opted to perform her debut smash — looking and sounding more wasted than ever.
Katy Perry – California Gurls: Canada got a touch of California and Candyland as Katy took the stage to perform her chart-topper. No crazy colored wigs for this performance, but all of the wacky hi-jinx remained.
Drake – Over: This hasn’t been the best week for performances for Drizzy. After the cancellation of his Seaport concert in New York, Drizzy almost missed out on performing at the MMVAs due to technical difficulties — all caught live on the show. After stalling for an entire segment, things were corrected and Drizzy blazed the stage with “Over.”
Justin Bieber – Somebody To Love/Baby: Canada’s pop prince picked up a bunch of awards and made all of the girls scream as he performed his latest single (“Somebody To Love”) and biggest single (“Baby”). Judging by the rough vocals, puberty is starting to stroke the Biebs gently.
Miley Cyrus – Can’t Be Tamed: Miley opened the MMVAs with “Party In The U.S.A.” (even though she was in Canada. DOH!) and closed the show with another raunchy performance of “Can’t Be Tamed.” Nothing new to see here. It was the same ‘look at my young butt-cheeks in this extremely tiny outfit’ hyper-sexual performance Miley’s been running with since debuting the single.
I saw Adam’s haircut when he performed at the Molson Amphitheater in Toronto on Saturday night. I love it!! I hope he keeps it for awhile.
Adam was not only looking hot and seXXXy as hell but also sounding AMAZING. I guess we should call that ADAMAZING! Seriously, his vocals were perfection!

Hands down, Adam schools every other performer. His vocals are the best by far, and he’s the best looking & sexiest male performer.
I agree, another great performance for Lambert. Guess many people agree because he won ur fave international video. That gives me a great amount of hope that the top 40 is expanding to embrace new and different kinds of talents. His voice is pretty amazing.

I couldn’t get tickets to Adam Lambert’s upcoming concerts here in California. So, I flew to Toronto and was mesmerized by his performance at the Molson Amphitheatre. He is the best. Someone like Adam comes along just once in a generation. He is a treasure.

Congrats to Adam, he deserves this award and much more, the most amazing musical artist to hit the stages in decades, think he will be drawing huge crowds and mega amounts of fans for a long, long time, and will outlast those who only appeal to tweens and teens. Adam appeals to music lovers of all ages, his music is fun but also in many ways meaningful. If anyone has not seen his latest acoustic version of “Whole Lotta Love” that he is performing on the Glam Nation tour, go to You Tube and watch, the performance should blow you away if you are all an Adam Lambert fan, and if this perfomance does not make you want to give someone a “Whole Lotta Love”, you must be carved from stone. Go Adam, luv ya.
