Katy Perry rocks the look well in the photo shoot for her cover story in Esquire magazine’s August issue. The official cover isn’t out yet, but thanks to the wonderment of the interwebs, you can ogle one “too hot to handle” shot.
Perry covers up her, uh, California gurls while staring seductively into the camera. She wears a couple pieces of subtle jewelery, some corseted undies/short shorts, and a pair of sexy heels to top the look off.
In the cover story, Perry dishes her engagement to comedian Russell Brand and her new music, that includes her chart-topping single “California Gurls,” featuring Snoop Dogg.
Perry is selling sexy in an effort to sell her upcoming album, Teenage Dream, in stores on August 24.

What’s sad about this is that there are so many female musicians out there who can do laps around Katy Perry song writing wise and they won’t get more recognition because Katy’s using her body for mere titillation in order to stay in the spotlight. Pathetic!!
