Jimmy Kimmel and Drake - ABC
Many people use Twitter to collect celebrity news, but rappers using the social networking site to write rhymes? That’s just lazy!
Late night talk show host Jimmy Kimmel convinces chart-topping rap rookie Drake to drop the pen, pad, and original thoughts and use what the celebs are tweeting about for lyrical inspiration in a hilarious skit that aired on his show this morning (June 25).
The duo, who meet up in a high school hallway (inspired by Drake’s humble beginnings on Degrassi: The Next Generation, maybe?), rhythmically read off tweets by Justin Bieber, Demi Lovato, Snoop Dogg, and Larry King and compile them to make one super funny song. Also super funny: Drake’s Lil Wayne impression, Jimmy and Drake’s heads on the Twitter birdie, and Drizzy’s really terrible white suit/do-rag combo.
