Now that Justin Bieber has practically taken over the music world, he’s ready to jump into something a little different. His next move? Some small screen acting.
The 16-year-old pop phenom has landed a role on the long-running CBS drama CSI (Crime Scene Investigate), the network announced today (July 22).
Justin’s appearance, in which he will play a troubled teen, will be a part of a continuing season arc. He will make his debut on the show’s season premiere in September and make additional appearances throughout the season to assist in wrapping up the emotional storyline according to Reuters.
Although this will be Justin’s first big television role, it won’t be the first time he’s flexed his acting muscles on the small screen. Justin had the opportunity to act alongside comedian Tina Fey when he appeared in a hilarious skit on NBC’s Saturday Night Live in April.
