Three years after performing at Lollapalooza as a relatively unknown brunette pop upstart, Lady Gaga returned to the legendary festival to help kick off a weekend of sun, beer, blood — fake if you’re on stage and you’re Gaga, real if you’re having a little too much fun in the crowd — and tons of rock n’ roll.
Gaga, back with her medium-length yellow tresses that totally pissed Estonian pop star Kerli off, performed a condensed version of her Monster Ball show, but packed in most of the visual aspects that make the tour the stunning work of art it is, like the eye-popping costumes and towering stage props.
Before her set, Gaga surprised the thousands of attendees when she showed up during glam-rockers Semi Precious Weapons‘ set to play drums, crowd surf, and make out with SPW lead singer Justin Tranter.
