Katy Perry is one of the most feisty and open pop stars out, but her interview last night (August 24) on the Late Show with David Letterman was bordering on dry and recycled with the same overused questions about her engagement to comedian Russell Brand and growing up in a strict, church-going household.
But near the end of the almost five-minute interview, Letterman whipped out Katy’s cover of Rolling Stone magazine and opened the glossy to a racy photos of the California Gurl wearing nothing but fishnet stockings on the beach and things finally got interesting. The word “side-boob” can brighten up any dull interview.
After the Q&A, Katy performed her new single, “Teenage Dream,” the title-track from her new album, in stores now.
