The weekend got started with some kick-ass news for Rihanna fans: the pop star took over her Twitter account. “No more corny label tweets,” RiRi declared.

As everyone anticipated her next tweet — and who she’d follow (for the record, she started following her fellow pop star BFF Katy Perry right away) — we got pumped to see how often and what she’d Twitpic first.

She started Twitpicing in a BIG way – quite literally.

Rihanna showed off her new, longer red hair while also showing off a new curling iron burn on her forehead. And, yes, all. She’s aware of its size. “New hair….new curling iron BURN……damn 5head always in the way,” she joked.

Twitter just got awesome!
