After starting the week on a high note with the news that his movie, Takers, went to No. 1, T.I.‘s week went downhill quickly Wednesday (September 1).
According to TMZ, the rapper and his new wife, Tameka “Tiny” Cottle, were arrested in West Hollywood for alleged possession of a controlled substance.
Law enforcement officials apparently pulled the couple’s car over, and after smelling marijuana, searched the vehicle, then made their arrests.
The pair’s bail has been set at $10,000.
The arrest news is particularly bad for T.I. fans, as he’s is on probation after serving time in prison on weapons possession charges last year.
