Today is September 4, 2010. That means 29 years ago today the newly dubbed Queen of Pop (argue amongst yourselves), Beyonce Giselle Knowles, was born.
While Beyonce lounged around her fancy apartment, sipping wine, and enjoying the day that gave so many artists someone to aspire to, we sifted through our personal collection of rare photos from magazine clippings dating way back to the start of Beyonce’s career with Destiny’s Child. We might have even found the photo capturing the very first time a 16-year-old Beyonce met her future husband, Jay-Z (above).
So, Beyonce stans, fans, and haters, enjoy this trip down memory lane and go out and get yourself bodied in honor of the Mighty B’s 29th birthday! Happy birthday, Beyonce! We love you!

Who in the hell does this chic think she’s fooling. This pole dancing, leotard wearing, weave sporting tramp has got to be 32 at least. The rumor has been out for years that this girl has been not only lying about the music she claims she writes, and the fact that she’s quiet and subdued, but about her age. She went to school with Gabriellte Union and Gabby is 37, that would mean that if they were in school together that chic beyoodles would have to be either 37 or four years younger which would put her at 33. I don’t buy it.
