David Archuleta
David Archuleta treated fans to a little new music this morning (September 6) during his appearance on the Jerry Lewis Telethon. The singer dropped by and debuted the brand new song, Things Are Gonna Get Better.
Things Are Gonna Get Better is a gorgeous mid-tempo track that features inspirational lyrics. “Everybody’s got a time in their life when everything hurts and nothing’s right/But you gotta walk on, yeah you gotta walk on,” Archie sings on the opening line. The uplifting song was the perfect choice for the telethon, which aims to raise money for the Muscular Dystrophy Association.
Things Are Gonna Get Better is from David’s sophomore album, The Other Side Of Down. The set, led by the first single Something ‘Bout Love, is due in stores October 5.
Gorgeous is an apt description of David Archuleta’s new song ‘Things are Gonna Get Better’. It is so touching, hopeful and still keeps that David vibe. Between this song, Something Bout Love and Elevator – all of which he has performed recently and are from his upcoming album, Other Side of Down, this album is proving to be full of pleasant surprises that I can’t wait to get my hands on! David did a wonderful job with his amazing new song!!! He performed it with so much emotion and soul!!! His voice and his heart worked in unison to bring me to tears, and lift my spirits all at the same time! It was a perfect song for this occasion. David can sing any song…put his stamp on it…and make his audience feel his passion!! I loved the little bit of “country” that I heard! He can sing Anything!!! Anything he sings is so heartfelt!!! I cannot wait for Oct. 5th!!! David is just the “gift that keeps on giving,” and I know that he has put his heart and soul into this album!!!
david is a true a r t i s t. pop singer or pop star is not enough to describe this kind of talent. this song is a great vehicle to showcase the depth of archuleta’s artistry. i like to country flavor in the song. i like david’s conviction and emotional connection in relaying the song. he is a remarkably talented singer, and deserves all the props in the world for being as humble and grounded as he is. i love this guy, and know he is destined for many geat things in this business.
Wow – David Archuleta is just amazing. His song is so heartfelt and soulful.I already have David’s album preordered – I can’t wait to hear the whole album. And I really love his latest released single “Something Bout Love.”

This was absolutely amazing…….so far its the song I like best of the new releases from David’s album. I stayed up until 2:00 a.m. to watch him. Now let me say this: I would stay up until any hour to hear David sing. However, I find it very unfair to put such a great performance on in the middle of the nite. How about having him perform on prime time??? Next time, please!! He was the best act I saw last nite and I started listening at 8:00 pm. Don’t give up, David. One of these days everyone will realize what a lot of us already know……..YOU are the BEST Singer out there and songs like Things are Gonna Get Better will be Proof of it. I loved you.

An imspiring song from an equally inspiring and wonderful young man. David can sing most everything well and with such joy and conviction. Love this song as well — also can’t wait for the album on October 5.
