A ‘California gurl’ is about to go live from New York City.
Katy Perry will help kick off the 36th season of ‘Saturday Night Live’ by hitting the stage as musical guest, it was announced today in a press release.
Perry has plenty of material to choose from for her two-song set. She just released her sophomore album, Teenage Dream, which went straight to No. 1 on the Billboard 200 albums chart last week.
No word yet on which of her chart-toppers Katy plans on performing, but we have our fingers crossed for a digital short.
