Adam Lambert
Adam Lambert is the latest star to speak out against bullying in his newly released video for the “It Gets Better” campaign. The glam-rocker takes a stand and speaks from experience to tell young fans dealing with gay bashers, “it gets better, but it’s up to you.”
“Even someone like me, someone who has recently come into some success in his career — I’m touring the world, I have a CD out, I do music videos, I’m living my dream — even I get bullied,” he said. “You look under any comments section on any article and there’s bullies in there telling me that I’m a f*ggot, that I’m ugly, that I’m gross….I’m singled out and it’s all ‘gay gay gay gay gay’ even though there’s so much more to me than just who I choose to sleep with.”
Adam sums his message up in one powerful statement: “You are so much more than your orientation.”

Adam is getting bullied by his whole Country, they leave hate on his articles, his videos, his music revies and award shows snub him when we all know he has more talent in his little finger than most of them do period! Its sad but yet Adam stays positive making inspirational music and giving his fans all gthey want and doing it with a smile and spreading love! Adam Lambert is living proof that it does get better and we can beat this ignorance with love!!

Adam’s the strongest person alive, and I appreciate his message, but it’s NOT up to them; it’s up to US to stop bullying. Let’s start with ourselves and stop gay-bashing, celeb-bashing, co-worker bashing, even Republican-bashing. I’m so sick of it, and more suicides every day. I had it bad enough as a geeky straight teen. Nobody should have to put up with that, ever.
Great message, Adam. I voted for you countless time on AI. I don’t need to tell you this, but pay no attention to the “idiot wind.” Being an artist is more than just music, it’s what’s in your heart. You’ve got a wonderful heart.
