So sorry, lovers of R&Beef. Ciara and Keri Hilson will no longer supply your fix.
The Atlanta-bred R&B divas, who have been constantly pitted against each other for their similar musical styles and tomboy chic fashion sense, took to Ustream last night (October 18) in a broadcast across both of their accounts to make their final statement on the feud.
“I do support Ciara in everything she does. It’s always Atlanta love,” Keri said. Signaling that there probably was some level of truth to some of the rumors, Keri continued: “We finally sat down and talked and had the conversation that needed to be had for awhile and it’s all love.”
“I’ve known Keri for years,” Ciara jumped in to say. “It’s no need for the craziness at all. We want to encourage women out there, young girls, all the drama, save it for ya mama. Love each other.”
To end the stan wars between their fanbases, Keri ended the chat saying, “Hopefully our fans can support each other and spread the love. Deuces! No more interviews about it!” Ciara echoed that sentiment. “It’s just so many more better things to talk about. The last thing I wanna do is spend time talking about some drama…We’re women supporting women and uplifting each other.”
