Christina Aguilera, Jennifer Hudson, Florence Welch
Girl power came together to give an unforgettable tribute to the Queen of Soul, Aretha Franklin, at the 53rd Annual Grammy Awards tonight (February 13).
Christina Aguilera, Jennifer Hudson, Martina McBride, Yolanda Adams and Florence Welch of Florence and The Machine opened the 2011 Grammys performing some of Aretha Franklin’s biggest hits in a tribute to the legendary singer who has been in poor health in recent months.
The highlight of the performance goes to Christina Aguilera. Just a week ago, the singer flubbed the lyrics to the National Anthem at the Super Bowl and it was clear she was out to redeem herself. With a powerful version of Aretha’s Ain’t No Way, Xtina redeemed herself and more!

It sounds to me like Christina’s microphone was turned down during times when all the ladies sang together. You can clearly hear it especially in the end.
