Justin Bieber Covers Rolling Stone, Talks Sex Before Marriage, Abortion

Justin Bieber - Rolling Stone

Leave it to Rolling Stone to get the most adult-ish interview out of Justin Bieber.

The inescapable 16-year-old pop sensation, who covers the mag with his signature mop-top hairdo tousled Robert Pattinson style, opens up about his feeling on sex before marriage, the “evil” American medical system, and abortion.

“I don’t think you should have sex with anyone unless you love them,” Bieber said. Asked more specifically about abstaining from sex until marriage, he said, “I think you should just wait for the person you’re…in love with.”

(Random adorable tidbit: RS writer Vanessa Grigoriadis apparently noticed a romantic photo of Bieber and his rumored girlfriend Selena Gomez as the background on his laptop’s desktop.)

Bieber is even more outspoken when it comes to abortion. “I really don’t believe in abortion,” Bieber said. “It’s like killing a baby?” When asked about how he’d feel about it in cases of rape, Bieber took a step back. “Um. Well, I think that’s really sad, but everything happens for a reason. I guess I haven’t been in that position, so I wouldn’t be able to judge that.”

The issue will be on newsstands February 18. Read more from the interview and see a behind the scenes video from the shoot here.

  1. Wow. Yeah he really has NO place talking about rape and abortion. Hopefully parents read over the article before letting their impressionable little girls read this. Hopefully most reporters have more sense than to ask a teenager about topics like this, and hopefully most editors would not include this as part of the article. Can’t we just let kids be kids anymore?
