Britney Spears’ Super-Sized Remix No Match For Katy Perry On Billboard Hot 100

Nicki Minaj, Britney Spears, Ke$ha

Britney Spears teamed up Nicki Minaj and Ke$ha for the super-sized, femme fatale remix of her single, “Till The World Ends,” but even that superstar match-up couldn’t dislodge Katy Perry‘s “E.T.” featuring Kanye West from the top of the charts.

Katy’s intergalactic love song logs its sixth non-consecutive week at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 singles chart this week, thanks to continuously strong radio airplay and digital download sales. (Another 300,000+ copies sold was added to the total last week.)

Britney and Co. couldn’t beat Adele either. The British songbird remains at No. 2 with “Rolling In The Deep,” from her No. 1 album, 21, while “Till The World Ends” settles in for a new peak position at No. 3. According to Billboard, the track sold 246,000 downloads, with the remix accounting for 167,000 of those sales.
