5 Videos MTV Should Nominate For 2011 VMAs

Video: Chris Brown featuring Justin Bieber – Next To You

Possible Nominations: Best Male Video, Best Pop Video, Best Collaboration, Best Cinematography

Why It Should Be Nominated: Chris Brown and Justin Bieber on one song? A match made in tween fangirl heaven. Chris Brown and Justin Bieber in one video? Well, what’s higher than heaven? That’s where that video was made.

“Next To You” was already destined to be epic simply because of the Breezy/Bieber connection, but the hot, young duo refused to rest on the epicness of their team-up and delivered an end-of-the-world, romantic saga that can’t be denied. With the sky falling and the ground crumbling, Breezy and Bieber vow to do whatever they can to stand by their girls.

The pair deserve to see a nod for Best Collaboration without a doubt, but Best Male, Best Pop, and Best Cinematography doesn’t seem like a stretch either.

  1. I totally agree with the first part of this article, Rihanna definitely deserves noms for Man Down. Man Down, to me was the video of the year, it was brilliant. Apart from the story line which was brave of Rihanna, Rihanna’s acting skills were impeccable and it looked so real. When I saw Man Down for the first time, I got chills from start to finish. This video is amazing and deserves recognition….positive recognition. If MTV snubs this video, I’ll be done with them just like I’m over BET.
