Justin Bieber and Chris Brown
And the award for the most obvious, true to life song title goes to Chris Brown and Justin Bieber for their latest collaboration, “Ladies Love Me,” because, well, the ladies surely can’t get enough of Breezy and Bieber.
The David Banner-produced track, built around a line in Breezy’s hit single, “Look At Me Now” (“Ladies love me, I’m on my Cool J”), finds the two pals throwing on their rap hats to brag ever so swaggerliciously about the fact that they’re young, hot, have fancy cars, and can steal any guy’s girl. For Bieber, this meant resurrecting his rap alter ego Shawty Mane for the job.
“Baby I’m your doctor/I could be your rocker/Swaggin’, I’m not braggin’ but I swear that I could rock ya,” Shawty Mane raps at the top of his verse. Bieber only gets more shockingly impressive from there. He’s obviously studied some of the hottest rappers out right now. We totally hear some Lil Wayne and Big Sean influence in there.
“Ladies Love Me” can be found on Breezy’s just-released new mixtape, titled Boy In Detention.
