Lady Gaga in "You And I"
Lady Gaga really meant it when she tweeted “F*CK THURSDAY” today, because flying in the face of the set Thursday night premiere of her latest music video, “You And I,” on MTV, the video has hit the internet.
Perhaps she moved up the premiere date because dozens of video stills, spoiling much of the tightly guarded secrets surrounding the clip, hit the net. Or maybe this is just one big coincidence. Either way, it’s here. And it’s, like every other Gaga video, minus the simplistic “The Edge of Glory,” an event — a big ol’ fantastic, yet confusing one.
We won’t even bother trying to decipher the meaning of the video. We’ll almost certainly be wrong. Only Gaga knows what’s truly going on in her crazy mind. But what we can tell is that it’s a love story; a love story between a man and his mermaid (played by Gaga), a man and his muscle car (also played by Gaga), and a man (who is, yes, played by Gaga) and his beer and his piano-playing lady (oh yes, played by Gaga), all set in a backwoods farm in Nebraska.

i had to close my eyes at some point… its obvious she’s been hanging around Manson for a bit.
it has to be the best gaga video so far. people were saying that “you&i” was a wrong choice for the 4th single. i think not.
