New Video: Bad Meets Evil Put Their “Lighters” Up With Bruno Mars

Eminem in "Lighters"

Sometimes in order to go up you gotta come down, and that’s exactly what Bad Meets Evil (Eminem and Royce Da 5’9”) do in the debut video of their Hell: The Sequel EP track, “Lighters” featuring Bruno Mars.

Directed by Rich Lee, the video opens up with soulful pop star Bruno Mars on the piano as he sings the track’s inspired hook. With Eminem the rapper and writer, frustrated with his creative efforts as he raps of having dreams of being king, he decides to take a few steps down in his basement, reigniting where he came from and his desires to be the illest; never giving up and always staying on top.

As the second verse plays out, Royce Da 5’9” is stuck in a jail cell rapping about where he’s from but more importantly where he’s going; to the very top. While what goes up must inevitably come down, Bad Meets Evil intend to keep flying high as they climb their way up, like “a sky full of lighters.”
