Video: Paramore Debuts New Song, “Renegade,” At Fueled By Ramen 15th Anniversary Concert

Fans turning out to see Paramore celebrate their record label Fueled By Ramen’s 15th anniversary yesterday (September 7) got quite a treat when the band played a brand new song.

“Listen up! This next song, we have never, ever, ever played before,” frontwoman Hayley Williams told the crowd before launching into a little disclaimer. “Sometimes this happens, and it goes wrong. I just need you guys to have fun anyways.”

Disclaimer not needed. When Williams began playing the new song, titled Renegade, she had the crowd’s full support. “And when I get there, it won’t be far enough/I’m a renegade. It’s in my blood/If ever I get there, it won’t be fast enough/I’m a renegade. I always was,” Hayley sings on the chorus to the upbeat pop/rock number. By the time she reached the bridge of the song, the audience joined in with hand claps and cheers.

“How long have we waited to play that for you?!,” Williams said when the performance wrapped. Hayley says the band will be putting the song online for fans to enjoy as soon as they can.
