Demi Lovato had a lot to look forward to when she headed out to attend the 2011 NCLR ALMA awards. She was going into it a nominee and she also had a big performance to give.
Before the show began, Demi walked the awards show red carpet and looked simply gorgeous. She wore her hair up and kept her make-up simple, opting for a little smoky eye and a nude lipstick.
Demi would walk away a winner for the night. She won the award for Favorite TV Actress – Leading Role in a Comedy for her starring role on the Disney channel original series, Sonny With A Chance, beating out Glee’s Naya River, Nick star Victoria Justice and her best friend Selena Gomez.
The singer would also give a performance of her latest single, Skyscraper, performed in both English and Spanish. Skyscraper appears on Demi’s third album, Unbroken, due in stores September 20.
The 2011 NCLR ALMA awards, hosted by George Lopez and Eva Longoria, will air September 16 on ABC.
