How lucky Selena Gomez was that Simon Cowell was only at the Tonight Show with Jay Leno to promote The X Factor USA, premiering Wednesday night, and not to critique her performance, because we’re not so sure she’d like what he’d have to say.
The teen pop princess practically whispered her way through her performance of her uber-catchy hit, “Love You Like A Love Song.” Any attempt to sing above a whisper sounded pained, and she stood in one spot the entire time, even though the song’s groovy synths beg to be danced to.
But enough of the negative. Let’s focus on the positive: the band rocked, and Selena, as always, looked gorgeous. There.

Haters. Selena sounded amazing. You’re just jealous that she’s gorgeous and can sing better than you. But I guess, trying desperately to promote Demi Lovato, you have to try and bring Selena down. Too bad it won’t work. Selena still sells better;) Lol that must kind of suck for you.
