Mary J Blige and Sting
To celebrate his 60th birthday and raise money for the Robin Hood Foundation, Sting gathered a bunch of his famous friends to join him on stage for a concert at the Beacon Theater in New York City last night (October 1).
The list of guests included some of Sting’s legendary peers like Stevie Wonder, Herbie Hancock, Bruce Springsteen, and Billy Joel, as well as some younger pals and admirers, like Will.i.am, Mary J. Blige, and Lady Gaga.
Will joined Sting to perform “Walking On The Moon,” a totally glamorous MJB crooned with Sting on “Whenever I Say Your Name,” while Gaga stormed through “King Of Pain,” much like she and Sting did at last weekend’s iHeartRadio Music Festival.
