Kelly Clarkson, Ne-Yo, Alanis Morissette, More Joining ‘The Voice’ As Advisers

Christina Milian and Kelly Clarkson - NBC

The rumors are true. Kelly Clarkson will be mentoring contestants alongside Blake Shelton on the second season of NBC’s singing competition The Voice. But she won’t be the only one.

Including Kelly, NBC has announced eight superstar “advisers” who will be assisting the current Voice coaches Christina Aguilera, Shelton, Cee-Lo Green, and Adam Levine.

Joining Clarkson on Team Blake will be his country superstar wife Miranda Lambert. Team Xtina will welcome folk singer Jewel and the legendary Lionel Richie; Team Adam lands Alanis Morissette and soul crooner Robin Thicke; and Team Cee-Lo boasts singer/songwriters Ne-Yo and Kenny “BabyFace” Edmonds.

Season two of The Voice begins Sunday, February 5 after the Super Bowl.
