Miley Cyrus in "You're Gonna Make Me Lonesome When You Go"
Miley Cyrus claims she can’t be tamed, but she can when she wants to be, and actually does tamed quite well. The pop star takes a mellow, country turn as she pays tribute to Bob Dyan with a remake of his classic “You’re Gonna Make Me Lonesome When You Go.”
The video for the track was just released and features Miley simply sitting on a stool in an old country home, singing the heartfelt lyrics into a studio mic with singer/songwriter/guitarist Johnzo West crooning alongside her.
Miley’s rendition of “You’re Gonna Make Me Lonesome When You Go” is featured on Amnesty International’s charity compilation, Chimes of Freedom: The Songs of Bob Dylan, out on January 24.

sounds pretty good! Sing like that a bit more often, she be ok.
“You’re Gonna Make Me Lonesome When You Go”, originally a folk tune by Bob Dylan, but truly a country tune by Miley Cyrus. This is where she truly belongs, musically speaking. Now, if enough country stations play this tune, she’ll start on her way towards a country music comeback. I can only believe Miley’s first post-Disney album will be a country album.
