Lana Del Rey Covers Complex Magazine, Talks Live Performances

Her ability to perform well in front of a live TV audience may be questionable, as we learned with her crash-and-burn debut on Saturday Night Live weeks ago, but there’s no denying Lana Del Rey‘s ability to shine on a magazine cover.

The 25-year-old “Video Games” singer stunningly graces the February/March cover of Complex magazine, shielding herself from the rain (and, symbolically, the haters) with a large umbrella.

In her cover story, Lana takes on the critics of her live performances, saying, “My real fans know I’m not a showstopper on stage. I don’t have f*cking circus lights. I just don’t care. My fans are there because they want to hear the record live. Everyone else is just there to see what happens.”
