It’s no secret that Justin Bieber counts Michael Jackson as his main inspiration. So imagine what was going through his mind when he was introduced by MJ’s daughter, Paris Jackson, to give a speech in honor of his idol at the King of Pop’s hand and footprint ceremony at Grauman’s Chinese Theatre yesterday (January 26).
“Michael meant so much to me,” Bieber told the audience, that included MJ’s other kids, sons Prince Michael and Blanket, and his beloved mother Katherine Jackson. “Michael was more than an entertainer. He was an inspiration. The way he was kind, the way he was gentle, he was very charitable. That’s why I look up to him… People are going to remember him for his dancing and for his singing, but people have to remember him for being the man that he was.”
After the ceremony, Paris took to Twitter to give Bieber a special shout out. “Had such an amazing time today. Creds to
@JustinBieber who did a great job (: The fam really appreciates it<3″
