Madonna
After months of hype, it finally happened. Madonna performed during the Super Bowl XLVI halftime show. And, boy, did she live up to the hype.

With a sick Roman empire theme, tons of dancers, — and what had to be a massive budget to pull it all off — the pop icon started the show with “Vogue.” She then headed to a neon-lit bleachers set for “Music.” LMFAO were invited to mash the track up with their “Party Rock Anthem” and “Sexy And I Know It.” After shimmying her sexy stuff with the party-pop duo, a bunch of cheerleaders took the stage, Madonna broke out her pom-poms and performed her new hit “Give Me All Your Luvin’,” complete with appearances by the track’s featured guests Nicki Minaj and M.I.A. But that wasn’t all. A marching band, led by Cee-Lo Green, joined the party. Soon they were in sparkling robes for a duet of “Like A Prayer” with a massive choir backing them. For one final special touch, Madonna had the field lit up with the words “world peace” in candles.
Head spinning? Yeah. It was a lot to take in and beyond over-the-top, but super entertaining, just as a Super Bowl halftime show should be.
