Katy Perry has already announced plans to release Teenage Dream: The Complete Confection, a re-release of her chart-topping sophomore album. And now we know which of the three new(ish) songs will lead the set. That will be “Part of Me,” an upbeat pop jam about showing strength in the face of heartache. You can see Katy striking a fierce pose on the single cover above.

The track has been around the internet for quite some time. We posted it when it first leaked back in December of 2010. (It was removed by Capitol Records with the quickness! But a snippet can be heard here.) But the timing is now perfect for Perry to release such a track. She just finalized her divorce from her comedian ex-husband, Russell Brand, and fans will eat up the song’s message as it seems to be coming from a genuine place.
“Part of Me” will be released digitally on February 21. Teenage Dream: The Complete Confection is out on March 27.
