Video: Lana Del Rey Performs “Video Games” On Jimmy Kimmel Live

Lana Del Rey

Looks like newcomer Lana Del Rey has really learned a thing or two after the nightmare that was her Saturday Night Live debut. While she was eviscerated in the press for the appearance (she was even mocked by the show itself in a ‘Weekend Update‘ skit featuring Kristen Wiig), it should be noted that her performances since then has only gotten better.

Lana brought her emo love song, “Video Games,” to late night talk show Jimmy Kimmel Live and nailed the vocals. She still has a lot of work to do with stage presences but this performance was light-years better than her disastrous SNL performances.

SNL debacle aside, Lana’s major label debut, “Born To Die,” still managed to pull in strong numbers. The set debuted at No. 2 on the Billboard 200 albums chart during its first week out, selling more than 77,000 copies.
