Rumors have been floating around the web that the featured artist on the full version of Rihanna‘s song “Birthday Cake” would “shock the world.” If the latest reports are correct, it surely will.
Multiple sources have revealed to radio personality, Miss Info, that the shocking feature will come courtesy of RiRi’s ex-boyfriend, Chris Brown. Brown, who was convicted of assaulting the pop princess the night before the GRAMMYs three years ago, is said to have recorded a singing and rapping guest spot on the highly anticipated extended version of the song.
The feature, while shocking, doesn’t come as a complete surprise. The former couple have been reportedly getting closer within the last year–although reps for Brown denied that they’re anything more than friends. Earlier this month, Rihanna and Breezy were both photographed leaving a recording studio in Hollywood in the days leading up to the 54th annual Grammy Award (where Breezy won his first Grammy and performed for the first time since the 2009 incident).
“Birthday Cake” is pulled from Rihanna’s latest album, “Talk That Talk.” The remixed full version is expected to be released early next week.
