The stars were out in London last night (February 21) to celebrate the best British (and some international) music acts at the 2012 BRIT Awards. Before they went inside the O2 Arena to collect awards and watch performances, the stars strutted their fashionable stuff on the red carpet.

A stunning Rihanna worked the carpet in a full-length, sparkling gown; Adele kept it simple and classy in a black gown; newcomers Jessie J and Lana Del Rey turned up the sexy in their red numbers; and Nicole Scherzinger looked sunny and cheerful in a banana-colored strapless gown.
