Demi Lovato isn’t done inspiring others with the story of her journey back from the depression, cutting, eating disorders and other personal issues that almost derailed her promising career. The 19-year-old pop star allowed MTV cameras to follow her on the road to her remarkable comeback and her daily battle to stay on the road to health in a revealing documentary titled Demi Lovato: Stay Strong.
In the just-released trailer for the doc, Demi admits she hated being labeled a role model when she first got into the industry and while she was bottling up her issues, but now that she’s faced her problems, has gotten treatment, and continues the fight, she’s working her but off “to be a legitimate role model.”
We also see Demi tackling her food issues during her first Thanksgiving out of rehab, behind the scenes on tour, and visiting the treatment center that helped her to offer her words of encouragement to others.
Demi Lovato: Stay Strong airs March 6 at 10pm on MTV.
